Jordan has so far rejected the idea, calling it a gross violation of international law, but has expressed concern about accommodating a large number of Palestinians. King Abdullah said it was necessary to find the best solution for everyone regarding the possibility of accepting more Palestinians, saying Jordan would accept 2,000 sick Palestinian children into the country.
